This position will spend two (2) days per week in a rural health clinic in Congress and two (2) days per week in a mobile health unit serving a 25-mile service radius around the Wickenburg/Congress area.
COMPANY PROFILE:
This multi-site healthcare clinic has been serving its local community for more than 20 years, providing full scope primary care. They currently boast a staff of 8 physicians and 7 advanced practice providers, who are supported by dedicated clinical and administrative team members, as well as visiting specialists. Being affiliated with a local hospital, they have easy access to services for laboratory, pharmacy, x-ray, EKG, minor surgical procedures, and more. They are currently hiring due to the exciting opening of their new mobile unit, allowing them to further expand their reach and provide high-quality primary care services to residents in their rural communities who may struggle accessing in-office healthcare services.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This is a primary care position split between a new mobile health unit (2 days per week; 25-mile service radius around Wickenburg/Congress) and a rural health clinic (2 days per week; Congress).
The mobile unit is a brand new, custom built “clinic on wheels” and the practice is excited to debut it to the community, particularly for those in rural areas who may have trouble accessing on-site healthcare. The mobile unit has a dedicated driver and is a 40-foot vehicle that runs on solar power. It is equipped with an exam room, telehealth capabilities, and imaging equipment.
In the mobile unit, the new provider will see an average of 22 patients per day, with administrative time built into the schedule. They will work with a dedicated medical assistant who is present at all times. Patients are of all ages, with an emphasis on adults and NO infant or newborn care.
In the clinic, providers see an average of 22 to 25 patients per day and are supported by dedicated clinical assistants, with administrative time built into the schedule.
All work is within the area of standard primary care:
- annual check-ups
- physicals
- chronic disease management
- sick visits
The practice uses an EHR.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Arizona NP or PA license
- DEA
- ability to see patients of all ages
- 1+ year advanced practice experience
- 1+ year primary care experience
