Medstaff is assisting with long term APP coverage for a ICE Detention facility located in Northeast of Alexandria, LA.

• Looking for an NP or PA with LA medical license, DEA, BLS and at least one year of recent primary care experience with all ages
• Experience working in detention, correctional or residential health care setting is preferred but not required
• Bi-lingual would be beneficial but not required
• Coverage is needed 24/7 to include days, nights, weekends and will have shared call
• Flexibility would be great - let us know your preferences
• Must possess a broad clinical background. Will work as part of an integrated team.
• Practice includes but is not limited to: Family Medicine, office-based procedures, urgent and emergent care, behavioral health, infectious disease and public health
• Gender specific care including management of pregnancy and transgender care
• Start date is based on time for interview, site visit, acceptance, credentialing and security clearance. Will be a commitment through September 2025, with possibility for long term extensions.
