A hospital-owned, well-established Primary Care group of 6 providers in Middlesex County CT wants to add an APP (APRN, NP or PA - EXPERIENCED ONLY) to their group. Their practice is located between New Haven and Hartford. The group is 100% outpatient with 3 weekends per year of phone call for additional pay. They are looking for FTE which usually ends up being 4.5 days in the office and 90% are patient-facing hrs. New hires will have his or her patient panel from day 1 and is expected to collaborate with colleagues, mentor new providers, and “hit the ground running”. The group averages 20-25 patients per provider daily. This group focuses on quality patient care in a warm, supportive, and collaborative setting and they are very attuned to creating a well-balanced work-life balance for their providers. The APP will work out of 1 office and work collaboratively with the other primary care providers. The Hospital is annually voted one of the top 100 in the country and is affiliated with UCONN Farmington and Yale so there is excellent support staff and opportunity for teaching as there is an FM residency there and residents will rotate through all clinics. Their tertiary care referral centers are Yale and UCONN and they have access online to Mayo Clinic. The community hospital environment is supportive, collaborative, and friendly. The hospital and the practice are both EPIC-based. Enjoy a competitive salary with productivity incentives and full benefits, malpractice, health, vision, and dental insurance, disability, and life insurance, PTO including CME time, CME stipend, and retirement fund with employer matching.
