Conduct patient assessments, history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
First or second assist in cardiothoracic surgeries, coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve repairs/replacements, and lung resections
Perform tasks like harvesting saphenous veins for bypass grafts, suturing, and maintaining a sterile field
Operate surgical instruments and devices under the supervision of the surgeon
Participate in daily rounds with the surgical team, providing updates on patient status
