Schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday

This role involves providing comprehensive medical care to adolescents, ensuring their safety and security while delivering quality healthcare.

Schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Family NP/PA:
- Patient Care: Provide medical care to adolescents, including well-care exams, patient histories, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Gynecological Care: Conduct gynecological histories and physical exams as needed.
- Prescriptions and Medications: Write prescriptions, inform patients and guardians about medications, distribute medications, and administer immunizations.
- Documentation and Referrals: Complete medical forms, track referrals, and follow up on care.
- Laboratory and Phlebotomy: Assist with phlebotomy, review lab results, and make treatment decisions.
- Supervision and Training: Supervise medical assistants, teach patient care, and participate in case conferences.
- Protocol Development: Develop and implement medical protocols and forms, and engage in research.
- Licensure: Licensed and registered as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) by NYSED.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; preferred areas include Acute Care, College Health, Community Health, Family Health, Holistic Care, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, School Health, and Women's Health.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English, proficiency in Spanish preferred!
- Pediatrics Experience: PEDS experience preferred.
