- Diagnostic Testing: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work, imaging studies, and electrocardiograms (EKGs).
- Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and treat common medical conditions and minor injuries, ensuring effective patient outcomes.
- Medication Management: Prescribe medications and therapies within your scope of practice to manage patients’ health conditions.
- Therapeutic Procedures: Perform procedures like suturing wounds, casting fractures, and administering injections with precision and care.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on preventive care, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to promote health and well-being.
- Collaborative Care: Work alongside physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
- Experience: At least 1 year of previous experience as a Physician Assistant.
- Licensure: Clean and active PA license.
- Certification: Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
- BLS Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association.
