1- Primary Care APPs for Fast Track for IHS, Eagle Butte, SD: The Contractor APP shall provide Primary Care NP/PA services at the Cheyenne River Healthcare Center in Eagle Butte, SD. The CRHC Fast Track is located in the Primary Care Clinic, and it primarily serves the ambulatory needs of the Cheyenne River Tribal members. CRHC services include medical and dental, in-house Pharmacy for patients, with a local ER where the sicker patients can be referred to.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8a-5p with one hour for lunch (unpaid); 30 minutes per appointment, max: 15 pts per day, average: 8-10 pts; no night no calls no weekend. Any state license: BLS/ACLS/DEA required. Housing (on-site housing, fully furnished houses, a block from the hospital), travel, and malpractice insurance included.
• Location: Eagle Butte, SD
• Payment starts at $80.00 with Travel, Lodging and Rental Car, malpractice insurance. Payment is 1099 every two weeks, direct deposit. Higher payment based on experience.
• 8-hour shifts, Mo-Friday, 8am-5pm. 30 min per appointment, average 8-10 pts/day. The last patient is scheduled for a 4:00 pm slot.
• BLS, ACLS, DEA required
• Fast Track/Urgent Care setting, sicker patients get sent to the ER with prior report to ER providers. Patients come in for: sniffles, sprains, pink eyes, UTIs, etc.
• Need minimum of 4 weeks in a row per month to provide travel coverage. Local candidates are welcome to apply.
• Admin Orientation 2 days plus 2-3 shifts of clinical Orientation.
• Scheduling month or two in advance

Job Responsibilities
the following:
● Interview and examine patients, review past medical history and request
and/or perform diagnostic tests and examinations as necessary to make
diagnosis for primary care services.
● Counsel and educate patients, families, community, and medical staff
about health care.
● Prescribe drugs and tests necessary to provide quality health care
including the use of radiology and laboratory services.
● Become familiar with and be guided by the Indian Health Service
formulary and shall follow IHS procedures when prescribing drugs.
● Participate in a continual process of quality of health care evaluation
to assure the provision of quality services.
● Strive for excellence in providing general family medicine medical services.
● Comply with all IHS facility infection control and safety procedures,
practices, and standards.
● Respect and maintain the basic rights of patients, to include but not limited to
personal dignity.
● Referrals shall be done utilizing the Patient Referred Care (PRC) process.
The PRC Committee, utilizing PRC guidelines, will review these referrals.
