JOB DESCRIPTION: -Confident and comfortable treating patients through the lifespan -Develop a plan of care for each patient, including complete medical history, physician examination, diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and referral, including hospitalization, when necessary. -Uses all available resources and treatment, such as lab and radiological testing, appropriately and cost-effectively. -Completes EMR according to practice standards and closes charts within the appropriate time frame. -Is well versed in relevant outpatient medicine and diagnoses such as COPD, hypertension, diabetes, etc. QUALIFICATIONS: -Understand the mission and practice of a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) -Comfortable in outpatient medicine and able to communicate effectively with a varied patient panel -BE/BC -Will accept new grads -Licensed in VA
