Palm Health Resources is hiring experienced cardiothoracic critical care inpatient nurse practitioners / physician assistants for a HOT locum contract in Indianapolis, Indiana!
These are full time 40 hours per week. Candidate must be available to work either day/nights. These roles are 100% cardiothoracic inpatient icu/pre/post op. Candidates need to be licensed in Indiana or IMLC ! CT surgery APP experience, or relevant surgical specialty experience is required. Highly autonomous position. Clinical rounding, and bedside procedural skills such as central lines, chest tubes, and arterial lines highly preferred. Assignment starts in September till end of year!

The Cardiac critical care team is a continuous, on-site service. Our APPs are involved in all aspects of patient management with a significant degree of autonomy in the Cardiac ICU program that supports Cardiac Surgeons and Cardiologist including: This is a cardiac ICU position that supports Cardiac Surgeons and Cardiologists. For cardiac surgery, this includes coverage for CABG/Valve patients, no VADs/Transplants, and there is no CVOR time available. For cardiology, coverage includes Acute MI, cardiogenic shock, heart failure, heart blocks, and arrhythmias. Performs high-quality clinical practices and effective patient management, under the supervision of the cardiac intensivist, in accordance with state regulations.
Seeking an experienced, board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a well-established CT Surgery team in North Indianapolis.
• Evidence-based practice in treating acute and critically ill surgical patients
