Job Description

A Van Nuys based clinic is searching for a Physician Assistant who is passionate about improving individual and community health. This position is a dynamic role in a community health center, with responsibilities for outpatient care only.

Required Qualifications

• Current California Physician Assistant license
  
• Current DEA licensure
• Active CPR Certification
• 1-2 years of PA experience
  
• Spanish (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Conduct primary care visits for care management of patient caseload
• Manage both acute and chronic conditions through direct intervention like medication prescription and patient education
• Consultation with collaborating Physician as appropriate
• Complete documentation of patient encounters, funding sources, and billing according to policy
