Rheumatology Physician Assistant Opportunity
Northern Virginia - No Call - No Weekends
Our client is a growing private Rheumatology clinic serving Northern Virginia. They are looking to add a new physician assistant to their practice to help handle an increased patient load. Providers enjoy a completely outpatient schedule with no call. State-of the-art clinic with on-site X-Ray and Lab.
Duties:
Assesses patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories., both for new and established patients.
Determines abnormal conditions by ordering diagnostic tests, such as x-rays and laboratory studies, and interpreting test results.
Overseeing RN, LPN, and CMA for on-site infusions
Instructs and counsels patients by describing therapeutic regimens, discussing family planning, promoting wellness and health maintenance, and rheumatologic issues.
Provides continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans.
Develops health care team staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of accredited PA program, current Certification in good standing
Certification and current license to practice in the state of Virginia or able to obtain quickly.
Maintains BLS certification. ACLS certification.
