We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our medical team. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients. You will perform a wide range of medical duties, including conducting patient assessments, diagnosing illnesses, developing treatment plans, and performing medical procedures. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong clinical knowledge, and a dedication to delivering high-quality patient care.


Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to assess, diagnose, and treat patients.
2. Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories to evaluate patients' health status.
3. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work, X-rays, and EKGs, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
4. Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and other interventions according to established protocols and guidelines.
5. Perform minor surgical procedures and assist in major surgeries, ensuring proper pre- and post-operative care.
6. Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and preventive measures to promote wellness and self-care.
7. Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
8. Document patient encounters, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes, in an accurate and timely manner.
9. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, physical therapists, and social workers, to coordinate patient care.
10. Stay current with advances in medical research, treatment guidelines, and healthcare technologies through continuous learning and professional development.


Qualifications:

1. Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
2. Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
3. Current state license or eligibility for licensure as a Physician Assistant.
4. Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
5. Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to apply evidence-based medicine in practice.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and healthcare team members.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
8. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
9. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
10. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
