A health services network in New York is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) for a great opportunity with their Endocrinology team at one of their facilities in Orange County.
About the Opportunity:
- Specialty: Endocrinology
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Flexible
- Patient Population: All ages
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with other members of the team to provide examination and treatment of patients
- Perform procedural care, assessment, and treatment of acute injuries, infections, illnesses, asthma care. etc.
- Prescribe and interprets appropriate lab tests to gain more information for possible infections or abnormalities
- Keep and maintain appropriate records relating to all professional services rendered
- Prepare and reviews reports, claims, and correspondence
- Ensure that records and documentation are in compliance with Federal and State regulations
- Prescribe medication and treatment for the patient
- Recommend appropriate physical and dietary routines and methods for disease prevention and maintaining personal hygiene
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Endocrinology experience
- NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
- Patient oriented
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
