A network of outpatient practices in New York is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Endocrinology team in Brooklyn.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Office is open 8-6 or 8-5, closed on the weekends
- Specialty: Endocrinology
- Patient Population: Adults
Responsibilities:
The Endocrinology NP or PA will:
- Conduct comprehensive initial patient assessments and perform thorough physician examinations focused on endocrine and hormonal health
- Monitor patient progress and keep records of treatments, surgeries, or other medical events
- Develop and implement patient treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Provide patient education
- Perform outpatient procedures as required
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in an outpatient or physician practice setting
- NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) license or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Some experience with endocrine disorders
