Emergency Medicine Locum job in Hancock, MI

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Physician Assistant to provide emergency department coverage for blocks of shifts in April and May. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider seeking flexible scheduling and potential for ongoing coverage.

Coverage Details:

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED) NP/PA
• Dates Needed:
  • Orientation required the day prior to the first shift.
  • April 4th
  • April 7th & 8th
  • April 23rd - 27th
  • May 10th - 13th
  • May 19th - 23rd
• Shift Time: 12:00 PM (noon) - 10:00 PM
• Schedule: 7 days a week coverage.
• Patient Volume: Average 36 patients per day.
• Admissions: Average 3 admissions per shift.
• Opportunity: Potential for ongoing coverage.

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible NP/PA.
• Experience in Emergency Medicine.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR.
• No fellowship required.

Support:

• Support Staff: ED Physicians and ED Registered Nurses (RNs).
• Inpatient/Outpatient: Both.
• Credentialing: Approximately 30 days.
• Temporary Privileges: Granted in needed situations.
