NP/PA Emergency Medicine Opportunity in Great Falls, Montana Position Details: Opportunity in Great Falls, Montana Helena, 90m Full Time; Permanent Position Hospital Employed Opportunity Seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine provider to join our team primarily working nights 156 shifts per year, 209 days off This position is primarily a night role, typically working 6p-6a alongside our physicians Involvement with a wide range of high acuity complaints and traumas, as well as lower acuity patients Additional need may arise to cover triage shifts during the day-time hours Experience practicing in an emergency medicine environment as an advanced practice provider is required. About the department: 33 bed beautiful Emergency Department with recent $12m complete remodel - 9 bed RME Unit - 11 bed Critical Care Unit - 13 bed Clinical Decision Unit Level II Trauma Center, functioning as level I Busy, acute department with 35-38% admission rate Large air ambulance program - fixed wing jet and helicopter averaging 3-4 missions a day, 900-1,100 flights annually in house flight team Innovative technology throughout department including: - Bedside ultrasound in all trauma bays - CT, x-ray and ultrasound available 24/7 - 2 way radio real time communication - Tele-stroke, tele-neuro services - Dedicated ED communication center for all transports/external transfers Compensation and Benefits: Nationally competitive shift-based compensation structures with additional performance compensation bonuses Relocation assistance Annual $5,000 CME + $1,000 license/dues 5-7% retirement match Paid malpractice + tail Provider wellness programs focused on personal and professional development Monthly meetings with highest-level physician and administrative leadership to bring ideas forward and solve issues Community Information: Great Falls is known as Montana's base camp for art and adventure with a city population of 60,000, and a draw of over 275,000 people in north central Montana.
