Position Overview:
Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and education
Collaborate with physicians and clinicians in a team-based approach to care
Create a positive experience for patients, physicians, and visitors in all interactions
Utilize advanced medical knowledge in diagnostics, therapeutics, and clinical decision-making
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and manage patient care plans
Prescribe medications and alternative treatment modalities
Utilize medical equipment for patient care
Educate patients on health promotion and risk identification
Maintain a safe and professional work environment
Leverage community and professional resources to enhance patient care
Requirements:
Education & Certification:
- Must obtain a state license in KY and/or IN
- Critical Care Certification required (ACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC)
Experience:
- Minimum of one year of acute care experience
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, diagnostics, and patient education
