Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible physician assistant
Must have 1+ year post training experience
Shifts Available: 7a - 7p (Physician), 7p - 7a (Physician), 9a - 9p (APP) – 7 days per week, 11a - 11p (APP) – 7 days per week
Ability to work PRN, part-time, or full-time locums
Site has about 14 open shifts a month
Provide direct patient care in the emergency department
Conduct assessments, perform procedures, and manage emergencies
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers in a fast-paced setting
Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and communication
Assist with the daily management of a census of approximately 60 patients
Hospital Services: General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Infectious Disease, PRN Urology, Transfer Emergent Cases, GI (ERCP cases transferred)
Services Not Provided: Gastroenterology (non-ERCP), Neurology, Vascular Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Interventional Radiology (IR)
