We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant for a locum tenens opportunity in Emergency Medicine in Dixon, IL—located 1.5 hours from Chicago and 55 minutes from Rockford. This position offers flexible scheduling and a strong clinical support team.

Position Details:

• Location: Dixon, IL

• Shift Options: 9 AM - 9 PM or 11 AM - 11 PM

• Schedule: 7 days per week, approximately 14 shifts per month

• Call: None

• Support: Physicians onsite 24/7 (7 AM - 7 PM, 7 PM - 7 AM)

• Patient Volume: Approximately 60 per day

• EMR: Cerner (experience preferred)

• Solo Coverage: No

Requirements:

• Active Illinois license, DEA, and CSR

• Board Certified or Board Eligible

• ACLS and BLS certifications

• Minimum one year of Emergency Medicine experience

• Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days
