Local Team Collaboration:

  • Join our close-knit team of nine physicians and two advanced practice providers, supported by a WTH – Dyersburg Hospital clinical performance nurse.

Qualifications:

  • Board certified as a physician assistant
  • Minimum of two years of emergency medicine experience required.
  • Active ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications required.
  • Must demonstrate a strong ability to handle high-acuity cases and advanced procedures like intubations, central lines, and chest tube placements.
Practice in the Heart of the Community

Flexible Scheduling:

  • Shifts are 9 a.m.–9 p.m. or 2 p.m.–2 a.m., offering flexibility and balance.
  • APPs work alongside 24-hour physician coverage in a collaborative model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in a 16-bed emergency department, managing approximately 75 patients daily.
  • Collaborate with cardiology, pulmonology, general surgery specialists, and other key areas.
  • Participate in urgent interventions in a high-acuity setting with opportunities to perform advanced procedures such as intubations, central lines, and chest tube placements.
