**Key Responsibilities**
- **Patient Care:**
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including physical exams and patient histories.
- Diagnose and treat a range of conditions, from minor injuries to critical emergencies.
- **Emergency Procedures:**
- Perform suturing, wound care, and minor surgical interventions.
- Stabilize and manage patients with acute or life-threatening conditions, including cardiac and respiratory emergencies.
- **Collaborative Practice:**
- Consult with on-call physicians as needed and coordinate with EMS for patient transfers.
- Provide detailed follow-up care instructions and ensure continuity of care.
- **Documentation:** Maintain thorough and accurate medical records for all patients.
**Qualifications**
- **Education:** Masters degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
- **Licensure:** Current state licensure as an NP or PA.
- **Experience:** At least **1 year of emergency room experience** is preferred.
- **Skills:** Strong clinical decision-making, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently.
