Seeking experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work at Bon Secourse Memorial Regional Medical Center.

  • Provider will work shifts at both Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center and Bon Secours Southside Medical Center
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
  • ED Volume: 46,000
  • ED Beds: 42
  • Staffing Model:
    • 8-10 hour physician shifts
    • 8-12 hour APP shifts
  • EMR: Epic
  • 6-10% of ED population is pediatrics
  • 15-22% admission rate (combined true hospital admits and observation admits)
  • Hospitalists admit 80% of the admitted patients in the hospital.
  • Two Sonosite machines in ED
  • GlideScope with pediatric/adult blades and flexible fiberoptic scope attachment
  • Ultrasound-guided IVs done by physicians, RNs, and techs
