Opening: Nationally Certified NP or PA with Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care experience
Position Type: Locum Tenens
Location: Near Schenectady, NY
Start Date: Based on time for credentialing approval
Length: minimum 3 months, possibly ongoing
Shifts: Vary Sun-Sat, 9, 10 and 12-hour shifts (no overnight)
Minimum 5 shifts per month, more are available
Details:
Main ED Annual Volume of 30k with 24 hr doctor coverage and 18 hours of APP coverage daily
16 bed ED with Fast track
1.6-2 patients per hour
Non designated trauma center
Specialty support Imaging, lab, and emergency psychiatric services
Urgent Care coverage needed as well, seeing about 2-3 patients per hour at the hospital as well as several clinics in the area
EMR is Meditech

Credentials: National Certification, Active New York medical license, DEA, ACLS & PALS
Rental Car or Mileage, Housing and Medical Malpractice provided.
