Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine opening in SC
Located in Georgetown, South Carolina

Seeking a certified Physician Assistant with at least two years of experience in an Emergency Medicine setting.
- SC Licensed
- Looking for 3+ years of Emergency Medicine experience as PA. Work with five other APPS in service.
- Location Both Murrells Inlet, SC and Georgetown, SC
- Georgetown: 35% low acuity trauma level 4-5, peds, rural community; Murrells Inlet: 5-10% low acuity trauma level 4-5, more complex medical cases, L&D alert system and services.
- Breaking ground on 3rd hospital in near future and open in 2028 includes full service ER
- To fill FTE; had previous provider moved on to a different specialty.
- Work schedule Four 9-hour shifts per week; no overnights. Georgetown hospital schedule: 8A-5P or 3P-12A. Waccamaw hospital schedule: 11A-8P. 4 weekend shifts per month.

- Full scope. Able to independently manage patient case load.
- Experience with using EPIC as EMR, efficient, and good problem-solving skills.
- Caseload 2 patients/hr; paid performance for 1.5-2/hr. Paid hourly; bonus paid quarterly.
- Diverse growing primary service area; community hospital; busy ER with > 50,000 visits per year; non-trauma centers. 28k visits at GMH; 32k visits at hospital.
- Certifications Required BLS, ACLS, PALS; ATLS and NRP can be provided if not currently certified.
- DEA Yes, South Carolina; both federal and state. And SC medical license
- ICUs with full med/surg services; full imaging, lab services and specialty support; Cath lab services. Hospitalists are Health System employed/25% admit rate overall.

- Trauma I goes to hospital in Myrtle Beach and we plan on Trauma IV designation in 2025

The facility is a hospital-owned primary care practice in Surfside Beach, Murrells Inlet, Myrtle Beach and Georgetown, SC with established primary care physicians and advanced practitioners (NP and PA).
