Work as part of an Emergency Medicine team to improve outcomes for patients in a dynamic Emergency Department. In this role as an Emergency Medicine APP, you will work alongside EM Physicians, other EM APPs, and EM nurses and staff to take care of patients and save lives. Though APPs in this role will collaborate with and share all patients with physicians, autonomy is both encouraged and fostered. Our EM APPs will learn to manage acute and chronic conditions with increasing independent expertise and are encouraged to practice at the top of their license. Although the focus of this role is primarily clinical, there will be Career Development opportunities with access to get involved in Education, Administration and Leadership.

Requirements:
***APP post-graduate experience is strongly preferred.
  1. Graduation from an accredited PA or ENP Program
  2. Licensed, or eligible, for North Carolina as an PA or NP program.
  3. Nurse practitioners must be ENP certified or eligible to sit for ENP boards within 6 months of starting employment
  4. Current BLS and ACLS required. ATLS is required within a reasonable timeframe after starting employment.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited NP or PA Program; Licensed, or eligible, for North Carolina as an NP or PA

Working Hours

Minimum of 35 hours per week, additional hours may be worked depending on needs
