Job Description
Seeking an Emergency Medicine trained Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) (either Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) for a community hospital in suburban Detroit The APP will work closely with the ED Physicians and Residents, Inhospital Physicians, and Hospital Administration.
The hospital is a teaching facility with multiple residencies and fellowship programs (Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Neurology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Orthopedic Surgery).
Qualifications:
- Board certified (PA or NP)
- Experienced in Emergency Room or Urgent Care setting
- Michigan state license
Job Description:
- Full-time (Per Diem opportunities available)
- 8-10 hour shifts
- Option for Independent Contractor status
Emergency Department Description:
- 45 ED beds; Level 3 trauma unit treating over 48K patients annually
- Academic ED program with 18 ED residents
