Seeking an Emergency Medicine trained Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) (either Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) for a community hospital in suburban Detroit The APP will work closely with the ED Physicians and Residents, Inhospital Physicians, and Hospital Administration.

The hospital is a teaching facility with multiple residencies and fellowship programs (Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Neurology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Orthopedic Surgery).

Qualifications:

  • Board certified (PA or NP)
  • Experienced in Emergency Room or Urgent Care setting
  • Michigan state license

Job Description:

  • Full-time (Per Diem opportunities available)
  • 8-10 hour shifts
  • Option for Independent Contractor status

Emergency Department Description:

  • 45 ED beds; Level 3 trauma unit treating over 48K patients annually
  • Academic ED program with 18 ED residents
  • Strong and supportive hospital leadership
