Responsibilities:

  • Provide essential medical care to individuals and families impacted by the hurricane
  • Work closely with local hospitals, relief organizations, and emergency response teams to ensure coordinated care
  • Adapt to fast-paced, high-demand environments, such as shelters, mobile clinics, and temporary medical facilities
  • Offer emotional support and counseling, helping patients and families navigate trauma and begin their journey toward recovery
  • Ensure that medications, medical supplies, and resources are distributed efficiently and appropriately
  • Assist with other duties as needed in the relief effort

Requirements:

  • Current licensure or certification in your respective field
  • Prior experience in an Emergency and/or Disaster Relief setting
  • Ability to remain calm and compassionate while working under pressure in a disaster setting
