COMPANY PROFILE:
This privately owned-and-operated dermatology practice opened in 2018 and is a provider-driven organization with a dedicated support team. Their providers work exclusively in the field, traveling to patient locations (private homes and facilities) to provide on-site dermatology care to the geriatric population. They are currently hiring due to growth.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This is a community-based role for a mobile dermatology provider. The provider will be responsible for providing on-site dermatology services, conducting patient assessments, diagnosing skin conditions, prescribing medications, and educating patients on skin health and treatment plans.

Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

- preventative and focused skin exams
- biopsies
- cryosurgery / cryotherapy
- wound care
- skin cancer diagnosis and treatment
- patient education
- diagnosing and treating dermatologic conditions
- prescribing, referring, and ordering as needed

Once fully trained, providers see 7 to 9 patients per day - this can be adjusted based upon type of appointment and patient needs. Approximately 30% of patients are in private residences and 70% are in facility or group settings.

Providers utilize a mobile EHR on iPad / iPhone and communicate with their office-based support team remotely. While the work in the field is highly independent, providers have quick access to a dedicated support staff.

No dermatology experience is required, as the practice has an extensive (and fully paid) training program, coupled with ample resources and constant support and communication.

The practice is considerate of provider drive times and all patients for this position are located within a defined territory.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Arizona NP or PA license
- DEA
- some home health or related experience preferred
- strong interest in dermatology required
- must have required hours to be an independent provider OR have own supervising physician
