This highly successful Dermatology practice continues to grow.
This practice is NOT affiliated with private equity.
The new provider will see a mix of General & Cosmetics.
They solidified themselves as being the preferred practice in the area.
Collegial team of Dermatologists, Mohs Surgeon, NPs & PAs
Expanded their main location.
Utilize EMA for EMR.
Compensation is certainly competitive and dependent on your schedule.

Job Responsibilities

Patient Evaluation: Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose various dermatological conditions, including but not limited to acne, psoriasis, eczema, skin cancer, and dermatitis.
Treatment Planning: Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, which may include prescribing medications, recommending skincare regimens, or performing procedures like biopsies, excisions, and laser therapy.
Minor Surgical Procedures: Perform minor surgical procedures, such as mole removals, cyst excisions, and skin grafts, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
Patient Education: Educate patients on proper skincare techniques, sun protection, and self-examination methods to promote skin health and prevent future issues.
Medical Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting patient history, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with dermatologists and other healthcare providers within the practice to ensure coordinated patient care and timely referrals when necessary.
Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dermatology through ongoing education and training to provide the most current and effective treatments to patients.
Patient Communication: Communicate with patients in a compassionate and empathetic manner, addressing their concerns and providing clear explanations of diagnoses and treatment options.
Compliance: Adhere to all medical and ethical standards, including maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with state and federal regulations.
Teamwork: Contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment, working closely with other medical staff to provide seamless patient care.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
Two years Previous experience in a dermatology setting is required.
Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Proficiency in dermatological evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, including minor surgical procedures. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.

Working Hours

Monday-Thursday: 8AM-5PM
Friday: 8AM-4:30PM
Saturday-Sunday: Closed
