A north-central Wisconsin private surgical practice that has a patient draw from a 13-county region throughout Northcentral Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan is currently looking for a Trauma / Vascular / ACS Physician Assistant. The PA will assume a primary provider role in the care of patients in a hospital setting.

The Position:
- Analyzes findings to create assessments, initiate treatment plans, and make referrals; performs diagnostics and prescribes treatments for medical and surgical issues.
- Orders and interprets lab tests, administers treatments, and performs routine procedures, including first aid and wound care, while collaborating with physicians.
- Develops and evaluates treatment plans, monitors patient outcomes, and ensures safety and quality standards in care.
- Provides cross coverage of Surgical First Role within the operating room.
- Completes Hospital rounds with Vascular, Trauma and Acute Care attending physicians daily. Afternoon rounds may be independent, but MD updates are expected.

Apply if you Have…
- An Active and Unencumbered Physician Assistance License in the state of Wisconsin
- A Master’s Degree in Science, Physician Assistant studies
- ACS, Vascular or Trauma Surgery experience (preferred)
- Physician Assistant with Pediatric Credentials (preferred)
- Experience with Epic Software (preferred)
