Critical Care Locum job in Kennewick, WA

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (PA, ARNP, ACNP, or FNP) with strong critical care/ICU experience to provide coverage for the specified dates. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing essential critical care procedures and will work as an integral part of our team.

Dates of Coverage:

• Orientation: July 1st or 2nd (Mandatory)
• Shift 1: July 3rd, 6:00 PM to July 10th, 6:00 AM
• Shift 2: July 17th, 6:00 PM to July 24th, 6:00 AM
• Shift 3: July 31st, 6:00 PM to August 7th, 6:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive critical care to patients in the ICU setting.
• Perform procedures including central line insertion, arterial line insertion, intubation, and potentially paracentesis.
• Manage and monitor critically ill patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records within the McKesson Paragon EMR system.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

• Physician Assistant (PA) with ICU experience, or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP), Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with substantial critical care/ICU experience.
• Board Eligible (BE) certification.
• Proficiency in performing central lines, arterial lines, and intubations.
• Experience with paracentesis is preferred.
