Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages with urgent care needs, including minor injuries, infections, and acute illnesses.
• Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays and lab work.
• Prescribe medications and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, preventive care, and follow-up recommendations.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Valid and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in [State].
• Certification as an NP or PA by an accredited certifying body (AANP, ANCC, NCCPA).
• Minimum of [X] years of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

7 on 7 off Tuesday through Monday. 8a-8p
