- Other Details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 1 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours only. There are an average of 8-12 patients per shift. The facility is seeking an experienced, board-certified Critical Care APP with a background in a critical care cardiac ICU unit, specifically managing VA & VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant patients. This position consists of three 13-hour shifts per week (7 AM - 8 PM or 7 PM - 8 AM), including night shifts, weekends, and holidays. The APP will primarily manage HVI CCU patients under the guidance of an intensivist, handling daily rounding, patient management, order entry, admissions, post-operative care, and procedures such as arterial lines, central lines, Swan-Ganz catheter placement, and IABP removal.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform daily rounding, patient management, order entry, admissions, and post-operative care.
- Conduct procedures including arterial lines, central lines, Swan-Ganz catheter placement, and IABP removal.
- Oversee patients requiring advanced cardiac support, including VA & VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in managing patients requiring VA & VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant support.
- Active state licensure and relevant certifications (ACLS, BLS, FCCS preferred).
