Amergis is seeking a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Chicago, IL!

We have an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Chicago, Illinois for a Neuro ICU opportunity. Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants will be monitoring patients 18+ recovering from Neuro Surgery, as well as monitoring patients in Critical Care and in the ICU.

Highlights:
  • Providing direct patient care within the ICU, critical care, and treating patients (ages 18+) recovering from neurosurgery
  • Schedule options include: 8, 10, and 12 hour shifts (day or night) - must commit to 2-4 shifts per week
  • Temp privileges' provided
  • Competitive hourly rate + weekly pay
  • Health, vision, dental + malpractice covered
Minimum Requirements:
  • Active, unrestricted IL license
  • Active IL DEA and Controlled Substance License
  • BLS and ACLS required upon start
  • 1 year of clinical experience required in either hospitalist medicine, critical care or neurosurgery
