We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our medical group in the Georgetown/Dover region of Delaware providing wound care. We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who is compassionate, caring, optimistic, self-motivated, gets excited about a challenge with a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will possess specialized knowledge in wound management and demonstrate expertise in providing comprehensive care to patients with acute and chronic wounds. This position will require the incoming PA or NP to practice within patient homes as well as our office, approximately 15-30 hours per week. Experience with wound debridement and other wound care experience is a plus but we can provide training for the right candidate.

Duties:
  • Assessing and evaluating wounds to determine the appropriate treatment plan.
  • Implementing evidence-based wound care protocols and techniques.
  • Performing wound debridement, dressing changes, advanced biologics, and other wound care procedures.
  • Monitoring and documenting wound healing progress.
  • Educating patients, caregivers, and healthcare staff on wound management techniques and prevention strategies.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure in Delaware
  • Certification in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing (WOCN) preferred.
  • Clinical experience in wound care debridement is preferred but we will provide training
  • Proficiency in wound assessment, treatment modalities, and wound care products.
Salary:
  • $65-$75 per hour

  • 15-30 hours per week
