A leading healthcare facility in New Jersey is currently seeking two temporary Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) for critical care roles.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: N/A
- Shift: Night shift
- Schedule: 2 nights per week (6 PM to 6 AM)
- Hours: 12-hour shifts
- Setting: Hospital-based in the Medical-Surgical ICU and Cardiac ICU
Responsibilities: The Critical Care NP/PA will be responsible for:
- Managing patients in the critical care setting
- Collaborating with Medical Residents, Intensivists, and Cardiologists
- Handling admissions, writing scripts, and making medical recommendations
- Maintaining communication with patients' primary care providers
- Participating in team meetings and providing support during critical situations
Qualifications:
- Master's degree required
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a PA or NP, with experience in ventilation management and critical care
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
