Job Summary:
ICC (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking a PRN experienced acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join HCA MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Qualified Candidates:
- Acute care certification and ICU experience required
- APP providers must be proficient with, and credentialed to perform routine Critical Care procedures including central and arterial line placement, thoracentesis, intubations and management of mechanical ventilation
- Ability to work PRN, 4-6 shifts per month
- Primarily Night Shift- 10 mo/year, Day Shift 2 mo/year
- 12-hour shifts covering a 23-bed medical/surgical ICU and 12- bed CV ICU with mandatory Intensivist consults
- 2 MDs (7am to 7pm); 1 MD and 1 APP (7 pm to 7 am)
- Busy program with high acuity patient population, Clinical Teaching with Residents/Fellows
- Ability to cover at sister facility, Southern Hills if needed
