- Other Details: The facility which is stroke-certified is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours only. There are an average of 11 patients per shift. A facility is seeking a Cardiology PA to cover a 13-week locum assignment, with the potential for extension. The provider will work three days a week at one location and two days at another, with 8-hour shifts that include a one-hour lunch break from 12-1 PM. Patient appointments are scheduled for 40-minute slots, starting at 8:20 AM and ending at 3:40 PM. A minimum of two years of cardiology experience is required, though five years is preferred. Privileging is required, but as this is a clinic-only role, the process should take approximately one month.

Job Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations, assessments, and follow-up visits
- Interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
- Educate patients on cardiovascular health, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of cardiology experience (five years preferred)
- Ability to obtain privileging (expected to take approximately one month)
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Not accepting Nurse Practitioners (NPs) for this role
Working Hours
- Three days per week at one location and two days per week at another
- 8-hour shifts with a one-hour lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
- First patient at 8:20 AM, last patient at 3:40 PM
- 40-minute appointment slots
