Job Summary:
Asheville Cardiology Associates, a leader in cardiovascular care and partner of Mission Health, is seeking an experienced cardiology advanced practice provider to join our busy and expanding cardiology practice in Clyde, NC.Qualified Candidates:
- Completion of an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program with appropriate certification exams
- Has, and maintains, current license with the North Carolina Medical Board
- BLS, ACLS certification required
- New graduates welcome to apply
- Cardiology APP experience preferred; and/or cardiology clinical rotations
- OP Focused Position
- Schedule is M-F; 8AM - 5PM
- Standard 80 hrs. per bi weekly pay period
- No Call Coverage
- Works closely alongside one Physician
- APP will see an average 16-18 patients per day
- Will see a blend of new and existing patients, case mix includes pre-ops; post ops; follow ups, stress tests, etc.

- Asheville Cardiology Associates is the largest cardiovascular diseases practice in western North Carolina with more than 35 cardiologists and 25 advanced practice providers who provide a full range of cardiac care including subspecialties of interventional (including structural heart disease), electrophysiology (including complex ablation), imaging (including dedicated cardiac MRI), general cardiology and advanced heart failure
- As partners with Mission Health System, the practice supports the 19 western counties of North Carolina with tertiary care
- 25-bed full-service critical access hospital serving Macon and the surrounding counties
- Outpatient services include wound clinic, full laboratory, digital mammography, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, rehab therapy, surgical/endoscopy suites
- $68 Million invested into new facility – opened September 2022
