Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions: Assess patient health, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide ongoing management of various medical conditions.
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests: Leverage diagnostic tools to accurately evaluate patient needs and guide treatment decisions.
  • Prescribing medications: Utilize clinical expertise to prescribe appropriate medications tailored to each patient's condition.
  • Patient and family education: Offer comprehensive guidance on managing health conditions, disease prevention strategies, and treatment options to empower patients and their families.
  • Monitoring progress and outcomes: Track patient recovery, adjust treatment plans as needed, and ensure optimal care delivery throughout the course of treatment.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician’s Assistant program
  • Registered as a Physician’s Assistant in New York State
  • NCCPA certified
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Masters degree preferred
