Job Summary:
St. David's Healthcare seeks a full-time physician assistant or acute care nurse practitioner to join cardiology group in Round Rock, TX.Qualified Candidates:
- Board certified physician assistant or acute care nurse practitioner
- Preferred minimum of 1 year or more cardio experience (NP or PA)
- Active TX license
- Perform patient examinations in clinic and hospital setting
- Occasional weekend rounding with physician in the ICU units at SDMC
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be confident in ability to make medical decisions
- Candidate should have excellent people skills as well as outstanding communication skills
- Ability to educate patients effectively and demonstrate expertise in their field
- M-F, 8A – 5P
- On-call: Estimate one per quarter
- 2-3 days/week must travel to Austin for clinic and rounding
- Hospital rounding at Round Rock Medical Center
