We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Electrophysiology team just north of Boston, MA.
Job Description:
- The Electrophysiology PA will function as a member of the Electrophysiology team providing inpatient and outpatient services.
- This individual will be responsible for:
- Outpatient evaluation of new and established patients with cardiac rhythm disturbances.
- Pre-procedure planning/follow up for a patient population including pacemakers/ICD's, antiarrhythmic drug therapy, catheter ablation procedures, left atrial appendage closure device implant.
- Outpatient follow up for patients with CIEDs including device interrogations and evaluation of remote monitoring in the EP Device Clinic.
- Inpatient responsibilities caring for EP patients in the Interventional Cardiology Hold Unit (ICHU) and medical floor.
- Performs Cardioversions and Loop monitor implants/explants.
- May require clinical rotation to an affiliated clinic.
