Job Summary:

Austin Heart would like to recruit a full time FNP, ACNP or PA to join the largest cardiology group in Central Texas at our Georgetown location.

Qualified Candidates:
  • Board certified ACNP, FNP or PA
  • Supporting with primarily one non-invasive cardiologist who has been practicing in the area for 20 years
  • Joining 4 FT experienced cardiologist and 3 FT APPs
  • Prefer 3+ years of cardiology experience
  • Typical weekday work schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am – 5:00 pm
  • Weekend daytime hospital coverage/rounding required (up to 12 weekends annually)
  • Rounding at Georgetown and Round Rock
  • Outpatient and inpatient work (Outpatient 75%, inpatient 25%)
  • Start date: April/May 2025, possibly earlier
  • Licensed in the state of Texas

About Hospital Practice:

St David’s Georgetown, which is part of St. David’s HealthCare, is a 144-bed hospital, offering a range of services. It features a 24-hour emergency department with a level IV trauma center, Certified Primary Stroke Center, inpatient and outpatient surgery, advanced pulmonary intervention, critical care capabilities, and acute inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. Cardiac cath lab was opened in 2024 with tentative plans for a STEMI program in 2026.
