Position: Locum Physician Assistant (PA) - Cardiology
Location: Dubois, Pennsylvania
Key Responsibilities:
Assist cardiologists in diagnosing and managing patients with heart conditions.
Conduct initial assessments, physical exams, and medical histories of cardiology patients.
Prescribe medications and therapies based on the cardiologist’s recommendations.
Interpret diagnostic tests including ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding cardiac care and preventive health.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
Qualifications:
Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with licensure in Pennsylvania.
Prior experience in cardiology is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
