A healthcare facility in Oregon is looking for a Cardiovascular APP to provide full-time coverage.
Practice Setting
- Join a team of dedicated healthcare professionals providing comprehensive care to adult patients
- Strong support staff including 2 RNs, 3 APPs, and 3 office staff
- Charting: Epic
Schedule
- Shifts are 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- 1:4 beeper call, including one day per week and one weekend per month (Friday 7 AM - Monday 7 AM)
- Weekend call involves rounding in the hospital followed by beeper call
Cases and Procedures
- High volume of cardiovascular surgery cases
- Expected caseload of approximately 11 patients per shift
- Vein harvest with Maquet equipment and open radial or harmonic scalpel technique preferred
Requirements
- Board Eligible Physician Assistant/APP with a focus in Cardiovascular Surgery
- Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgery CAQ preferred
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- 5 years of recent experience in Cardiovascular Surgery preferred, but not required
