Job Summary:
We are seeking a Cardiology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Heart and Vascular Institute at a large Medical Center in Westchester, NY as part of the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy National Center of Excellence. This is one of the largest and most innovative programs in the country. The candidate must demonstrate general cardiology experience with a focus on patient satisfaction and attention to detail. Experience in heart failure or interventional cardiology/cath lab would be welcome.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage patients in the outpatient setting.
• Conduct pre-admission testing and workup of patients for interventional procedures.
• Assist in research visits.
• Provide general support to the hypertrophic cardiomyopathy physicians and coordinators as part of a team approach.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Must hold a current New York State PA or NP license.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
