ECU Health Physicians and The Department of Cardiovascular Sciences at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Physician Associate to join their established Electrophysiology practice located in Greenville, NC. Applicants with at least 1 year of experience as a provider are preferred. Nurse Practitioner applicants must be certified as an ANP, FNP, ACNP or AGNP.

Job Highlights include:

· Employment by ECU Health Physicians

· Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center, home to the East Carolina Heart Institute

· Established electrophysiology practice inclusive of 6 physicians and 1 Advanced Practice Provider

· Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities will include Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities will include admissions/discharges, consults, rounding, writing orders, preparing patients for procedures, H&Ps, clinic coverage for EP and cardiac device clinic patients

· Monday-Friday schedule (40hrs per week) with occasional call and weekend coverage dependent upon census

· Premium pay for any weekend coverage

· 29 county referral network that includes 1.4 million residents

East Carolina Heart Institute The East Carolina Heart Institute at ECU Health Medical Center is eastern North Carolina’s preferred facility for cardiovascular services. The six-story, 375,000-square-foot tower houses clinical space, diagnostic services, and cardiovascular operating rooms, including a hybrid operating room. It features 120 beds for patients undergoing procedures for cardiac medicine, cardiac surgery, and vascular surgery.
