Job Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for the care and management of cardiothoracic surgical patients in the ICU.
- Work in conjunction with the attending cardiothoracic surgeon, and non-surgical providers, for medical care of cardiothoracic surgical patients.
- Perform initial evaluation, history, and physical examination of all assigned patients.
- Placement of invasive monitoring lines including central venous catheters, dialysis lines, and arterial access.
- Participate in ongoing education, quality, and research projects.
- Contribute to service-related databases as indicated.
- Participate in education of patients and families during their inpatient course.
- Support the mission and goals of Lehigh Valley Health Network.
Job Description:

- Duties include managing post cardiac and thoracic surgery patients, ECMO, LVAD, bedside procedures, and assist in inpatient practice needs
Job Qualifications:
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
- A Valid Pennsylvania Medical License or ability to obtain one is required
