Our client, a nationally renowned academic medical center and integrated healthcare delivery system, is currently hiring a Physician Assistant (PA), Cardiology Community Outreach.
Job Responsibilities:
- Practice cardiology community outreach
- Obtaining patient histories and performing physical examinations
- Writing progress notes, procedure notes, and monthly care plans
- Ordering and/or performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Formulating a diagnosis
- Developing and implementing a treatment plan
- Monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions
- Offering counseling and education to meet patient needs
- 100% outpatient
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, no weekends
- Requires travel within Westchester County, the Bronx, and Manhattan
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program
- Licensed as a Physician Assistant (PA) in New York State
- NCCPA certified
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
