Our client, a nationally renowned academic medical center and integrated healthcare delivery system, is currently hiring a Physician Assistant (PA), Cardiology Community Outreach.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Practice cardiology community outreach
  • Obtaining patient histories and performing physical examinations
  • Writing progress notes, procedure notes, and monthly care plans
  • Ordering and/or performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Formulating a diagnosis
  • Developing and implementing a treatment plan
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions
  • Offering counseling and education to meet patient needs
  • 100% outpatient
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, no weekends
  • Requires travel within Westchester County, the Bronx, and Manhattan

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program
  • Licensed as a Physician Assistant (PA) in New York State
  • NCCPA certified
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
